How to play ';somewhat hard to get'; to get an ex back ?

OK, we broke up a week ago, since then, I have done pretty well as far as not calling him, just to see how he is doing, or just to hear his voice. HE has been the one calling me. NOw, 90% of the time. If I do call back, its the next day, its a short talk, less than 5 min and I always hang up first. So far this has been working pretty well, he has called alot more often than he had been the last 2 months of our relationship. So, what else can I do, like maybe if we do meet up to hang out, to keep him on his toes, like IM not that easy to get back with, make him miss and want me.Im usually an honest person, when he does call, I run out of excuses to use to get off the phone, he asks why I have to get off, and I always feel I have to say something other than, Im busy.

I want him to want me, but I dont want to play a game so hard that he just loses interest all together. How to play ';somewhat hard to get'; to get an ex back ?
First, keep on ignoring him and let him chase you for a while. When contacting you keep on short talks, answers for his questions and say that you are busy, you don't have to lie, simply keep yourself busy reading, watching TV, hanging out with your friends. However, don't ignore him completely to keep a string in the bond. Speak in warm and gentle voice that expresses emotions without saying a word. Keep on eye contacts if you see each others but do not talk so much. DONT make a first move during at least a week. I am sure that he will be on his toes ;)How to play ';somewhat hard to get'; to get an ex back ?
Okay, don't play games, even though sometimes it's hard. Don't be a manipulator. Besides the bad reputation, manipulating people becomes a nasty habit.
