Why cant an ex back off?

i broke with this guy i was with for a yr and a half like 3 weeks ago.


obv im over him well because i have been for a while


and now im dating someone and he is trying to make me feel so bad that we didnt work anything out after we broke to try to get back together (this is the 3rd time we tried going out)


he keeps telling me that he doesnt go out how miserable he is and how he will never love again and idk what to say to him anymore





what do i do?Why cant an ex back off?
oh well just ignore him. It's stupid for him to make you feel guilt. It's his problem and he needs to get over the fact that you guys are broken up.Why cant an ex back off?
cut him a little slack- you two went out for a year and a half, and three weeks later you're already with someone else- he's probably heartbroken.





but you'll never hear the end of it if you give into his whining- tell him you're sorry he's upset, and then stop talking to him- let him work things out and get over you on his own. if you want, tell him you're willing to be friends/ talk to him once he's ready/moved on.

I know you probably do care about him and all, but you have to tell him straight up its over. Start ignoring his text, his calls, everything. He'll get the hint sooner or later. Don't let this ex get in the way of your new relationship either, or it might ruin this one. Good Luck
i ahve da same problem but you have to cutt off all communicateion with him no matter how much it hurts you cant keep talkin to him..





change ur number block his block him on all you email or myspace or watever sites you r on...





thats the only way hun...trust me..
Do not worry about it. He will get over it eventually.
completely ignore him, don't even reply he wants sympathy dont give it. move on
