Any tips on how to get an ex back?

But here's the catch...we broke up 3 years ago.


I've never gotten over him..sure I've dated others, even had a serious relationship which ended, but I never fully got over my ex from 3 years ago. I don't know of a way to contact him, so I asked a mutual friend of ours (who is more his friend) to give me his email address so I could write him a letter. I have an idea of what I want to say in the letter...I'm going to tell him I really want to be his friend again and miss having him in my life.


I heard he has a girlfriend BUT before you all start saying I'm a homewrecker, please hear me out when I say I just want to be his friend again so that when (if) he breaks up with his girlfriend, then I can swoop in and be more than just friends. Don't worry, I'm not the type of girl who goes around ruining relationships, I'm not evil.





I just want him back in my life..just to start talking to me again..so that we can have a chance together in the FUTURE again.





Last time I tried talking to him over the internet, he didn't say much at all, he wrote back a really short response.





So can someone give me any tips on how to talk to him, or what to do in this situation? Please help me.Any tips on how to get an ex back?
No Sam, don't do something so desperately pathetic. He hasn't called or contacted in 3 years. That says a lot. The one time you contacted him via the internet, he didn't say much and his responses were really short. That says even more. He's not into you.





However, if you absolutely must learn your lesson the hard way, simply email him and say you had thought about him recently and just wondered how he was doing. Do NOT mention the past. Do NOT mention you want to get back together. Do NOT apologize or say he's the best thing that ever happened to you. blah blah blah. recipe for disaster.


Try it. Take it slow. Expect nothing. I have already placed a bet in Las Vegas that he's not going to respond to you. He gets one chance to respond to you. If he doesn't, then you have your answer and you will have to let it go.Any tips on how to get an ex back?

Hello. The only reason I stumbled to your question was because I typed ';How to get an ex back'; into the search. I don't plan on doing anything but I was curious as to what others think. I just want you to know that you're not the only one out there and you are not creepy. I feel the same way. I don't have real advice and if I did, I wouldn't advise you to follow it. I miss my ex. We weren't just dating for years, we were best friends and one day he left. I hope you are feeling better than me and I wish you nothing but the best and I hope you find what you are looking for.

honestly i know what you mean because ive been there.but trust me, being friends in the future only hurts you and confuses him. it will end in another heartbreak please listen to me. its not a good idea to just show up back in his life if he hasn't showed up back in yours. there is a reason for that, u guys broke up and he is happy now.. dont confused him and dont make his gf upset.
